Fall Foliage Arrives

~*~
It may be stating the obvious, but when the question is fall foliage, the answer is always Vermont. Some day... I want to spend the first two weeks in October taking a tour of the fall foliage. Today I checked out one of the local newspapers and the arrival of fall was on the front page. Here are a few pictures from the local vermont area taken just this week!
I love this season! (Sigh)

Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures! I was in Vermont one autumn many years ago. It was so beautiful! The friend I was traveling with knew the owners of a maple sugar farm. It was a blaze of red and gold, and we took bottles of maple syrup and maple candies home with us. Well, at least the syrup got all the way home. The candy, like my trip is history.
